"Bamboo" on the label is usually just rayon.
Most bamboo underwear is not natural bamboo. The stalks are dissolved with aggressive chemicals into a regenerated fiber — chemically identical to rayon. The raw bamboo plant does have natural antibacterial substances, but these are completely destroyed in that chemical process.
Therefore, the "naturally antibacterial" claim on most bamboo underwear is misleading — regulators have repeatedly taken action against it. Our choice: not to claim an antibacterial effect based on a vanished plant substance, but to restore it with zinc embedded in the fiber. Functional, not folklore.

How do I wash them?
Machine wash at 30°C, inside out, no fabric softener (which leaves a coating on the fiber). Do not tumble dry on high heat. This way, they will maintain their shape and performance for years.
