Tired of sweaty, smelly, and itchy boxer shorts?
The cause of sweat, odor, itching, and red spots is one thing: a warm, damp groin. TRUECELL wicks away that moisture immediately and keeps your skin dry and calm — not just another "soft" boxer.
It's not you. It's the climate in your pants.
You shower. You change daily. And yet, by midday, you're clammy, itchy, or smelling something that shouldn't be there. That's not due to poor hygiene — it's because your underwear creates a warm, moist environment where exactly four things thrive.
Cotton absorbs moisture and traps it. By lunchtime, you feel wet and sticky — especially after 8 hours in a chair.
Sweat is odorless — until bacteria break it down. In a damp boxer, that's a party. And synthetic fabric retains that odor even after washing.
Moisture + friction = chafing on the inside of your thighs and groin. Rough seams and stiff fabric make it worse.
A warm, damp groin is the perfect breeding ground for fungi (jock itch) and skin irritation. Tight, poorly breathable fabric accelerates it.
And for those who are getting older, there's another thing: the few drops after urinating. Two-thirds of men over 60 know it — almost no one talks about it.
They seem like four different problems. It's one. And the cause is always the same:
Your groin is one of the warmest, least ventilated areas of your body.
A moist, warm climate is exactly what they need to grow.
They break down sweat into odor, irritate your skin, and give fungus a chance.
No moisture = no breeding ground. You break the entire chain at the source.
That's why more showering or stronger deodorant doesn't provide lasting relief: you're treating the symptom, not the source. The real solution lies in what's against your skin all day — your underwear.
We didn't choose a "comfort fabric." We engineered a fabric that tackles moisture and combats what remains.
Unlike cotton, this fiber doesn't absorb — it transports moisture to the surface where it evaporates. It absorbs up to 50% more moisture than cotton without feeling clammy, and dries significantly faster. Result: a dry, cool microclimate instead of a damp hothouse.
Zinc is known for its antibacterial and skin-soothing properties. Embedded in the fiber — not as a coating that washes away — it creates an unfavorable environment for odor-causing bacteria and helps keep your skin calm. Wash after wash.
Why the two best-selling "solutions" in stores don't solve your problem — and what TRUECELL does differently.
| Cotton | Bamboo (viscose) | TRUE NEEDS DRY | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Moisture-wicking | No — absorbs & retains | Limited | Yes — transports & evaporates |
| Drying time | Slow · stays damp | Average | Fast |
| Antibacterial / anti-odor | None | Lost in production* | Zinc, in the fiber |
| Friction / red spots | Roughens after washing | Pills & loses shape | Smooth, stays smooth |
| Shape retention after washing | Stretches out, sags | Pills quickly | Retains shape |
Most bamboo underwear is not natural bamboo. The stalks are dissolved with aggressive chemicals into a regenerated fiber — chemically identical to rayon. The raw bamboo plant does have natural antibacterial substances, but these are completely destroyed in that chemical process.
Therefore, the "naturally antibacterial" claim on most bamboo underwear is misleading — regulators have repeatedly taken action against it. Our choice: not to claim an antibacterial effect based on a vanished plant substance, but to restore it with zinc embedded in the fiber. Functional, not folklore.
This is how "bamboo" fabric is made: the plant is dissolved with aggressive chemicals and re-formed into fiber — rayon.

Moisture is wicked away and evaporates, so you feel just as dry in the evening as in the morning.
No moisture and zinc in the fiber mean odor has little chance — no odors you need to mask.
A smooth fiber that stays in place and keeps you dry — less friction, less chance of red spots.
Dry and calm instead of warm and damp — you deprive fungus and irritation of their ideal environment.
For the man over 50: the small amount after urinating is wicked away and the zinc keeps it fresh. No wet spot that shows through, no odor. Discreet, dry, worry-free — without anyone needing to know.
We don't claim a miracle cure. We claim a fabric that measurably does what it promises — and that can be verified by third parties.
Tested for harmful substances. Safe for the most sensitive skin.
Moisture and freshness performance of the fabric supported by external laboratory research.
Tencel™ Modal from Lenzing and zinc — no vague "special fabric," but fibers you can look up.
Produced under European standards — not the cheapest route, but the right one.
The same amount of moisture on both fabrics. Cotton absorbs it and stays dark and wet; TRUECELL spreads it and lets it evaporate. You'll feel that difference all day long.

"I work all day in a warm delivery van. First boxer where I don't feel like I'm sitting in a wet towel by 5 PM. Bought them because I was fed up — kept them because they actually work."
"For years, I suffered from itching and irritation in the summer. I'm not going to make medical claims, but since wearing these, it's been calmer down there than it has in ages. That says enough."
"Honestly: I bought them skeptically. But the difference from my old cotton ones is crazy. No clammy feeling, no odor at the end of the day. The fit is snug — don't order too small."
Most men replace all their old pairs at once. The more you take, the lower the price per item — and you get a dry one every day.
Wear them. Wash them. Sweat in them. If after 100 days you don't feel drier, fresher, and more comfortable than in your old boxers? Then you get your money back — you don't even have to send back the worn packs. The risk is on us, not on you.
No — and that's precisely the point. Softness doesn't guarantee you'll stay dry. We designed the fabric around one measurable task: wicking away moisture and inhibiting bacterial growth. That's functional, not cosmetic. The softness comes as a bonus.
We don't make medical promises. What TRUECELL does is keep your skin dry and calm, creating a less favorable environment for the bacteria and fungi that thrive in a warm, moist groin. If you have an active infection or persistent issues, always consult your GP or dermatologist.
TRUECELL doesn't stop the dribbling itself — that's physiological. But the fabric wicks away those few drops so no wet spot shows through, and the zinc keeps it fresh so no odor develops. For many men over 50, that's the difference between being aware of it all day or simply forgetting about it.
No. The zinc is embedded IN the fiber (SmartCell), not as a coating on the outside. That's why it doesn't wash out, unlike treatments that wear off after a few washes.
The fit is deliberately snug and supportive — keeping everything in place and preventing chafing. If you're between two sizes, choose your usual size, not smaller. You'll find exact waist measurements in the size chart on the product page.
Machine wash at 30°C, inside out, no fabric softener (which leaves a coating on the fiber). Do not tumble dry on high heat. This way, they will maintain their shape and performance for years.
Ordered before 10 PM in NL/BE = usually delivered the next business day. We offer free shipping on orders of 2 items or more. You'll receive a track & trace link once your package is on its way.
You already shower. You already change. The only thing standing between you and a dry, fresh day is the fabric you put on every morning.
